Born out of the frustration of losing her Chilean residency status, RUT is a knitted installation in the form of a jungle made out of the artist’s Chilean National ID number. This piece works as an installation as well as a performative piece. In which the artist contemplates her Chilean identity as she obsessively knits and un-knits her RUT.
